OVERHEAD MOUNT
Read all of the sections pertaining to ceiling and wall mount installations before attempting to install or remove the Injector or EDA (if applicable) from the Injector Mounting Arm.
WARNING
Failure to allow for tension and height adjustments in the Articulating Arm may result in personal injury, equipment damage, and property damage.
The overhead mount configuration employs an Articulating Arm that can be mounted to a Ceiling Mount Column or wall bracket. The Ceiling Mount Column is available in three lengths: S (11.25"), M (21.50"), and L (34.50"). Once the Articulating Arm is installed, the remaining procedures are the same for both configurations consisting of securing the Injector on the Injector Mounting Arm, which is then secured to the Articulating Arm. The Articulating Arm is comprised of a Horizontal Arm and a Spring Arm. When installed, it will allow the Injector to move through a wide range of motions, both vertically and horizontally. When not in use, the arm can be easily raised and/or folded against the wall for convenient storage.
IMPORTANT! Note: ACIST is not responsible for the installation of the ceiling column or wall mount. Also make note that ceiling column orientation affects the range of motion. Position to optimize usable range of motion. During installation, refer to the Articulating Arm Field Installation Checkout Sheet for the Ceiling/Wall Mount Accessory. This is a checklist to verify that all of the installation instructions were properly followed. This will need to be signed by the installer and returned to ACIST. The overhead mounting installation consists of the following procedures: 1. For ceiling mount installations, begin with Section 4.3.1 – Installing the Articulating Arm (Ceiling Mount). For wall mount installations, begin with Section 4.3.2 – Installing the Articulating Arm (Wall Mount). 2. Section 4.3.3 – Installing the Injector Mounting Arm 3. Section 4.3.4 – Installing the Injector 4. Section 4.3.5 – Installing the Mounting Arm to the Articulation Arm 5. Section 4.3.6 – Installing the EDA
