categories specified by “DIRECTIVE
2002/96/EC OF THE EUROPEAN

(WEEE)” should be disposed of in a
manner consistent with relevant laws
and regulations.
This symbol indicates that the abovementioned requirement applies to
this product.
Date of manufacture
Indicates the date when the unit was
manufactured in the factory.
Prohibition of touch
Indicates prohibition of touch.
Product version
Indicates the product version.
Avoid getting caught
Indicates that the user must avoid getting caught in the gap in the device.
Load capacity
Indicates the maximum load capacity.
Type BF applied part
Indicates that the device is classified
as Type BF in terms of the degree of
protection against an electric shock.

Comes on when the power cord is
connected to the AC power source.
Power failure alarm indicator
Comes on when the power cord gets
disconnected from the AC power
source while the unit is in operation
or in the event of power failure.
Battery operation indicator
Comes on when the optional UPS is
being used as a power source.
System failure alarm
Indicates that the unit is in an abnormal condition.
Alarm silenced
Indicates either a control switch to
silence the bell temporarily, or that
the bell is silenced.
Set temperature alarm indicator
Flashes when a displayed skin temperature deviates from the set temperature by more than 1ºC (or 0.5ºC
alternatively) in the ser vo control
mode.
Skin temperature probe alarm
indicator
Flashes when a wire of the skin temperature probe has snapped or shortcircuited in the servo control mode.
Baby check alarm indicator
When the heater output is set to 35% or
higher, the baby check alarm indicator
will flash after 15 minutes of operation.
The alarm can be reset by pressing the
silence/reset switch but it will reoccur
every 15 minutes thereafter.
Canopy tilt alarm indicator
Is displayed when the canopy is tilted.
Skin temperature
Indicates the function related to the
infant’s skin temperature or that the
incubator is in servo control.

Indicates the function related to the
manual control or that the warmer is
in manual control.

Skin temperature 2 selector switch
While this switch is being pressed,
the infant’s skin temperature detected
by the skin temperature 2 probe is
displayed on the skin temperature
display.
Setting
Indicates set values or the setting
procedure.
Timer display
Displays up to 60 minutes 00 seconds.
Timer switch
Press this switch to start/reset the
timer.
Alarm limit selector switch
Press this switch to select one of
the four alarms: the SpO2 high limit
alarm, the SpO2 low limit alarm, the
pulse rate high limit alarm and the
pulse rate low limit alarm. When either the SpO2 high limit alarm or the
SpO2 low limit alarm is selected, “ ”
or “ ” on the left of the SpO2 display
flashes. When either the pulse rate
high limit alarm or the pulse rate low
limit alarm is selected, “ ” or “ ”
on the left of the pulse rate display
flashes.
Intervention alarm
Illuminates or flashes when intervention is detected. (Nellcor type only)
Pulse search alarm
Illuminates or flashes during search
for pulses. (Nellcor type only)
Sensor dislocation alarm
Flashes when a sensor is dislocated
from a patient. (Nellcor type only)
Setting up switch
Press this switch to set the skin temperature, the heater output, and the high/
low alarm limits to a desired level.
Setting down switch
Press this switch to set the skin temperature, the heater output, and the high/
low alarm limits to a desired level.
Light control switch
Controls the intensity of lighting.
