WARNING! Misdiagnosis. U.S. Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician. This Burdick ECG device must be used by qualified operators only and any results interpreted by a qualified diagnostician.
This Burdick ECG device is available with an optional University of Glasgow interpretive analysis program. Features include: ◆
Factoring in age, gender, and race More than 500 measurements are factored into each analysis. Criteria for abnormalities include age, race, and gender. Race, for example, is key in identifying hypertrophy and T-wave abnormalities.
◆
User-selectable QTc Formulas for diagnosis and pharmaceutical studies To calculate QTc, select from Hodges, Bazett, Fridericia, or Framingham formulas.
◆
Retrospective Analysis Support The ECG device reanalyzes data after age, gender, race, drug therapy, or clinical classification are changed.

Password protection
Password protection The ECG device uses password protection to restrict administrative and directory access. For more information on enabling and setting the password, see Password protection on page 3-2.
Help menu To access the Help menu: 1.
Press Help.

Use the navigation keys to select a topic and then press Select to print.
Note: Help is available at any time except during alphanumeric entry (for example, when entering the patient’s name).
Quick selection To quickly locate an item in a menu or patient list, enter the first character of the item. The system will skip to the next item beginning with that character.
Paperless workflow Paperless mode requires: ◆
Communication options must be installed and configured.

Set Auto print to Off. Press Setup and then select: ECG | Auto ECG workflow |Auto print)

Set Auto send to On. Press Setup and then select: ECG | Auto ECG workflow |Auto send)
Refer to Chapter 4, Communications Setup to configure communication options. Refer to Auto ECG workflow on page 3-6 to configure Auto print and Auto send.

Selects either User 1 or User 2 Multiple users on page 3-2 also hold the Alt and another key to enter special characters.
ECG
Acquire and print a 12-lead ECG (a series of reports using pre-programmed lead sequences and settings).
STAT ECG
Acquire and print a 12-lead ECG before entering patient demographic information.
Auto Rhythm
Print an auto rhythm report (a rhythm strip with a pre-selected number of pages using the leads currently selected).
Manual Rhythm
Print a manual rhythm report (a continuous rhythm strip of the leads currently selected). This report runs until the Stop key is pressed.
Stop
Press Stop at any time to stop printing.
