As the technology within our products change over time, we continually evaluate our ability to deliver the high quality and timely service levels that you expect from GE. In the case of the Dash monitors with product codes DJ, EH, AAB, DSH, SBG and DashPort(2) with product codes DX and AAA, it is difficult to find some replacement parts from approved suppliers, and maintain our standard quality of maintenance level. This letter is to inform you of GE Healthcare’s intention to fully discontinue service, service contracts and part support for these products as of September 30, 2015. From now until that date, we will continue to use commercially reasonable efforts to support these devices as long as parts continue to be available. For service parts and support during this time period, please contact your local GE Healthcare service center. You can continue to use your system beyond this date, but if this equipment has been scrapped or is no longer in use, please inform us so we can update our records. We have replaced these devices with newer devices that provide additional benefits to you and your patients. For information on the potential trade in of your Dash Patient Monitors toward the purchase of our newer technology, such as the CARESCAPE* modular monitors, please contact your local GE Healthcare sales representative.
