DANFLOW 1100 QUICK QUIDE STEP 1 – SWITCHING ON Turn ON the printer unit with the ON/OFF button on the backside of the unit. After a selftest of approx 10 seconds, the POWER LED is ON and the unit is ready. Check that the flowmeter is ON too. STEP 2 – ZEROING MODE Place an empty container on the flowmeter. During the zeriong LED MEASURE is blinking approx. 5 seconds. Now the unit is ready to record. NOTE! Do not touch the flowmeter or container during the zeroing. STEP 3 – TESTING MODE When LED MEASURE has a constant light you ask the patient to void. Normally the unit stays in waiting mode for 3 minutes but this time can be ajusted. The micturition is finished if there is no additional flow during 50 seconds. You can also manually end the recording by pressing START. STEP 4 – PRINTING THE REPORT When the recording is finished LED MEASURE turns off and LED PRINT lightening up while the report is automatically being printed. For the flowmetry report to be generated you need a volume > 10 ml and a flow > 2 ml/s. When the report is printed, the flowmeter returns to sleeping mode.  STEP 5 - PRINTING AN EXTRA COPY If you want to print an extra copy of the report, just press COPY. Remember that if the unit is turned OFF, the last recording will disappear from the internal memory. STEP 6 - FEED PAPPER You can at any time press FEED to move the paper. You can use this function to create extra space for adding notes on the report. STEP 7 - TRANSFER DATA VIA SD MEMORY CARD TO COMPUTER The unit is equipped with a 2 GB memory card where all the examinations are stored. Press the SD card so it bounces out approx 5 mm and pull it out. Place the SD card in a card reader in your computer and copy the recordings you wish to save or print on an archive resistant A4 paper.
