Service Manual Barkey Prismacomfort
Safety information on environmental influences The influence of strong electromagnetic fields (e. g. through the use of HF therapy or surgical devices) can lead to malfuncWARNING tions of the Barkey Prismacomfort device. If interference of this type occurs, increase the distance between the Barkey Prismacomfort and the device causing the interference, or operate the devices at separate times. The Barkey Prismacomfort works perfectly within the limit values set in the EN 60601-1-2 standard. The device can be influenced outside the limit values set by the EN 60601-1-2 standard. Portable and mobile HF communication equipment such as mobile phones can influence the device. The actual temperature of the heating device depends to a small extent on the room temperature. During manufacture, the heating devices are calibrated at a room temperature of 22 ± 1°C. Temperature inspections can be carried out at a room temperature of 20 - 28°C. If the temperature tolerances for the heating device are not met in this process, the temperature inspection must be repeated at a room temperature of 22 ± 1°C. During the measuring process, the heating device must not be exposed to sunlight, draughts or any other conditions influencing the measurement. Do not cover the heating profile with cloths or bandage material, and do not run it below bedcovers, warm air blankets or similar. Do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of • flammable materials (e.g. gases, liquids), • flammable mixtures of anaesthetic substances with air, • flammable mixtures of anaesthetic substances with oxygen or laughing gas whose flashpoint is below 50°C. In particular, it is imperative that the device is not used in areas where alcohol disinfectants and anaesthetising substances are being used at the same time. The device may not be set up or operated in the immediate vicinity of devices with a high waste heat output. When setting up the Barkey autocontrol 3XPT controller, you must ensure that there is an unrestricted feed and discharge airflow around the base and rear of the device.

After all figures have been set, including acknowledgement, the selected time stops flashing in the display. You can only quit the menu option and carry out the time setting of the integrated clock by pressing the confirmation button. When setting the time, it has proved helpful to set a time which will only be valid a few seconds later. This enables exact synchronisation between the integrated clock and a time reference. NOTE If an incorrect time is entered, the restricted number of buttons does not allow this process to be broken off. If this is the case, you must complete the input of the incorrect value and then set the time correctly afterwards by reselecting the "set time" menu option.

After all figures have been set, including their acknowledgement, the selected date stops flashing in the display. You can only quit the menu option and carry out the date setting of the integrated clock by pressing the confirmation button. NOTE If an incorrect date is entered, the restricted number of buttons does not allow this process to be broken off. If this is the case, you must complete the input of the incorrect value and then set the time correctly afterwards by reselecting the "set date" menu option.
