The installer is required to use an ESD (electro-static discharge) Grounding Wrist strap during this procedure to avoid unintentional damage to the electronic devices in the machine. Do not remove any cards or IC chips from their antistatic containers until you are ready to install them. When removing cards or chips from a system, immediately place them in an antistatic bag or container. When handling cards or IC's, hold them by their edges. Avoid touching the components and connector leads on the card. Avoid touching the leads on the IC. Do not slide cards or IC's over any surface. Avoid plastic, vinyl, and Styrofoam in your work area

Disconnect the cable connected to the loader board and the earth connecting cable connected to the stepper motor. Unscrew the screws holding the stepper motor.
Turn the stepper motor a little bit counter clockwise and pull it out towards you.

Separate the lead screw from the stepper motor Gently pull or screw it out from the motor. 7. Unscrew the two screws holding the lead screw and the lead screw fixing plate. S. Replace the lead screw and the lead screw fixing plate with the new one. Put back the screws and tighten them.

Thread the stepper motor on to the lead screw and gently push it on till the metal plate on the stepper motor passes the micro switch. 10. Put back the screws holding the stepper motor and tighten them. 11. Reconnect the earth connecting cable to the stepper motor and connect the cable from the stepper motor to the loader board. 12. Close the cabinet
