CALIBRATION FOR KCB-E-20 BABY SCALE
1. Ensure that the battery is fully charged and keep the scale body horizontal on a flat and hard surface. 2. Before turning on the scale, Press the “MODE” and “ON/TARE” buttons at the same time. Release both keys when “CAL” is shown on the display. 3. You are now in the calibration set-up. The first procedure will go through stabilizing the “Zero value”. A series of numbers will be displayed at an unstable behaviour, and will settle to a stable number. Once the value becomes stable, Press the “ON/TARE” button to confirm. The display will then show C10 for 1 second. 4. After the scale shows C10, you need to place 10Kg on the scale. A series of numbers will be displayed at an unstable behaviour, and will settle to a stable number. Once the value becomes stable, Press “ON/TARE” button to confirm it is 10Kg. The display will show C20 for 1 second. 5. After the scale shows C20, you need to place 20Kg on the scale. A series of numbers will be displayed at an unstable behaviour, and will settle to a stable number. Once the value becomes stable, Press “ON/TARE” to confirm it is 20Kg. The display will show “END” and you have reached the end of the calibration procedure. The scale will be turned-off automatically. 6. Turn on the scale. Place different capacities of weight (no more than 20Kg) to check whether the values are in between the weight range of error (5Kg ±2D, 10Kg ±3D, 15Kg ±4D, 20Kg ±5D). If not, try the calibration steps above again. (Updated: 13/4/2016)
