Tools

During disassembly and replacing, the following tools may be required: Phillips screwdrivers Small flat-bladed screwdrivers Contact spanner Tweezers

Preparations for Disassembly

Before disassembling the monitor, finish the following preparations: Stop monitoring the patient, turn off the monitor and disconnect all the accessories and peripheral devices. Disconnect the AC power source and take out battery.

Basic Disassembly

At this part, we will show you how to disassemble the Cover and the Display of the Monitor

3.1 Disassemble the Front Cover: Place the monitor face back and unscrew the two PT3×12 screws, as shown in the figure below. Pull out the Front Panel. PT3×12

Disconnect the Keyboard COMM Cable and the Speaker Connecting Cable. Then the Front panel is disassembled.

3.2 Disassemble 8.4' TFT Display Assembly: Unscrew the two M3×6 screws, as shown in the figure below.

M3×6 Disconnect TFT Inverter Board Connection Cable from the Power Board and the TFT display signal Cable from the Main Board, and then remove the TFT display. Please reference the figure below:

3.3 Disassemble the Parameter Panel: For different configurations of EtCO2, the procedure is different. Please reference the corresponding parts according to your monitor.

3.3.1 For PM-8000E without EtCO2:

Unscrew the two M3X6 screws, then remove the mental Chock (Before remove it please pay more attention the Position of the Pin marked by Red Circle, this is very important when re-assembling the Monitor).

Push down the twp Plastics pins marked by Bule Circle, and push out the Parameter Pannel

3.3.2 For PM-8000E with Micro-Stream EtCO2:

Unscrew the two M3X6 screws, then remove the mental Chock (Before remove it please pay more attention the Position of the Pin marked by Red Circle, this is very important when re-assembling the Monitor).

Mental Chock Push down the two Plastics pins marked by Bule Circle, and push out the Parameter Pannel M3X6

Push down the four Plastics Pins marked by Blue Circle, then push out the Micro-EtCO2 Interface.

After that, the side parameter panel is disassembled.

3.3.3 For PM-8000E with Micro-Stream EtCO2:

Unscrew the two PT2X6 screws, then remove the water trap bracket。

Unscrew the two M3X6 screws, then remove the mental Chock (Before remove it please pay more attention the Position of the Pin marked by Red Circle, this is very important when re-assembling the Monitor).

Unscrew the four PT2X6 screws, Push the water trap bracket in the Monitor.

3.4 Disassemble the Signal Socket assembly. Unscrew the three M3X6 screws, and then push in the Signal Socket assembly.

3.5 Disassemble the Rear Cover Unscrew the six M3X6 screws, then push out the Main Unit (PS: please pay more attention to the Signal Socket assembly).

Until now, We have disassemble the Cover the whole unit, in the following Chapter we will show you how to disassemble the Parameter Module.

Advanced Disassembly

At this part, we will show you how to disassemble the Parameter Module.

4.1 Disassemble the Main Board: 1.

Disconnect all COMM cables from CPU board

Unscrew four M3×6 screws.

PS: Following figure indicates each connector’s function, which is very useful when you assemble the monitor. If you just need to disassemble the Main Board, you just need to remove the Front Cover and the TFT display assembly, the corresponding procedure, please - 15 MR-DG-8000E (V1.0)

4.2 Disassemble the Power Board: 1. Disconnect all Connection cables from Power Board;

2. Unscrew three M3×6 screws (Marked with Blue Circle).

4.3 Disassemble the Back Shield, Net Board and Fan assembly 1. Unscrew four M3×6 screws (Marked with Blue Circle), then the Back shield is apart from the Main Unit.

2. Unscrew two M3×6 screws (Marked with Blue Circle), you can disassemble the Net Board; Unscrew four nuts (Marked with Red Circle), you can disassemble the Fan assembly.

4.4 Disassemble the EtCO2 Module: The Procedure of all EtCO2 Module is almost the same; here we take Micro-Stream EtCO2 for example: After remove the Back shield, we can see the Micro-Stream EtCO2 Module as below. Unscrew four M3×6 screws (Marked with Blue Circle), you can disassemble the Micro-Stream EtCO2 Module; Unscrew two M3×6 screws (Marked with Red Circle), you can disassemble the Connection Board for Micro-Stream EtCO2 Module.

4.5 Disassemble the NIBP Module and the IBP Module: 1. For NIBP Module: Unscrew four M3×6 screws (Marked with Blue Circle), unplug inflating tube from module, then disconnect the COMM Cable. After that the NIBP Module is disassembled; 2. For IBP Module: Unscrew three M3×6 screws (Marked with Red Circle), disconnected the COMM cable, two Signal Cable. Then The IBP Module is disassembled.

The Following Picture shows the Disassembled IBP and NIBP Module.

PS: Please notice that at the IBP Module, connector with Label P3 used to connect IBP1, connector with Label P4 used to connect IBP2.
