Preventive Maintenance Program Trabectome® I/A Console Trabectome® HF Generator/LP NeoMedix Corporation recommends the following preventive maintenance steps to be executed in the prescribed time periods in order to ensure proper performance of the Trabectome® I/A Console and Trabectome® HF Generator/LP. The Trabectome® I/A Console and Trabectome® HF Generator/LP contain no serviceable parts. There are no replacement parts available and no calibration required. At Installation: Ensure heavy objects are not put on the instrument. Ensure that wires, pins or other metal objects are never inserted into any opening on the generator or console. Ensure that the units are never moved or pull by the power cord or output lead. Never move instrument when power cord or output lead is connected. Do not obstruct any ventilation holes, as this will increase the internal temperature. Do not operate the instrument with the cover removed unless you are a qualified service technician. Every 3 months after installation: For the Trabectome® I/A Console and Trabectome® HF Generator clean and disinfect external surfaces. Follow as described in each user manual the description of the cleaning procedure. Every 6 months after installation: For the Trabectome® I/A Console and Trabectome® HF Generator/LP inspect the plug connection to ensure a tight fit between the male and female connections. For the Trabectome® I/A Console and Trabectome® HF Generator/LP inspect the wiring to ensure there are no splits or frayed wires. Include the power supply connection in this inspection. Every 12 months after installation: Perform routine inspection of electrical components per the initial installation procedure. Optional: Hipot the HF Generator using standard protocols. The Trabectome® I/A Console and Trabectome® HF Generator/LP contain no serviceable parts. There are no replacement parts available and no calibration required.
