Software Version V08.13.Highlights: 1. New Alarm Message on GUI - “Integrated Power Pac failure” Alarm This alarm message indicates there was a loss of communication with the Power Pac battery. The charge level indicator will not be correctly updated. Replace Power Pac battery. 2. New battery question mark (?) icon on GUI - A grey battery icon with a red question mark indicates there was a loss of communication between the ventilator and the Power Pac battery. If this occurs, replace Power Pac battery. 3. New Message on GUI – “Date has reset. Please replace coin battery.” This message indicates that the date and time has reset to 2006/01/01, signaling that the internal coin battery needs to be replaced. 4. Backup Battery Failure alarm - “Backup Battery Failure, Use external power only, Call for service” alarm has been fixed to address nuisance cases. If the action of removing and reinserting the Power Pack Battery and upgrading software does NOT clear this alarm, then the alarm indicates a failure that may affect the Backup Battery's ability to power the ventilator in case the Power Pack battery becomes fully discharged or disconnected. If this case occurs, the ventilator must be serviced. 5. Event History files – prevention of clearing Event History files during a Main Power Off while events are being recorded. 6. Cancellation of Backup Ventilation - If linked to Apnea Alarm, after 2 minutes of Backup Ventilation it is canceled. In previous software this was 3 minutes. 7. Patient Preset options – Custom Patient Presets are correctly selected when a Custom Patient Preset is selected after using a Default Patient Preset. In previous software, the Custom Patient Preset selections could be displayed as pending which could revert back to the Default Patient Preset when the Custom Patient Preset was selected.
