Lifetime Limited Warranty Your Invacare Rollator frame is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a lifetime, for the original consumer. This device was built to precise standards and carefully inspected prior to shipment. This Lifetime Limited Warranty is an expression of our confidence in the material and workmanship of our products and assures years of convenient, dependable service. In the event of a defect covered by this warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the device. This warranty does not cover device failure due to owner misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear. The warranty does not extend to non-durable components such as rubber accessories, brakes and grips, which are subject to normal wear and tear. Non-durable components are warranted for 6 months. GENERAL WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (Continued) x Do not use the seat to transport people or objects. Do not use the seat to carry or move anything. x Do not sit on the rollator while it is being loaded into a vehicle or while it is being transported in a vehicle. x Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity (including bag contents) or serious injury could result: Handles: 90Kg (200lbs) Seat: 112Kg (250 lbs) x Before each use make sure the rollator frame is fully opened and in a stable position. x Check the brakes for proper operation. Make sure that all parts are secure and that moving parts are in good working order. x All wheels must be in contact with the floor at ALL TIMES. This will ensure the rollator is properly balanced. x Do not hang anything from the rollator handles or frame (other than the vinyl storage bag in the original position). This may cause the rollator to tip, resulting in bodily injury or rollator damage. x The seat MUST be in the DOWN position when using the rollator for ambulatory assistance. x Do not use the seat without the backrest in place. Falls are possible if the user leans or slides backward on the seat. x The brakes MUST be in the locked position BEFORE using the seat. x When using the rollator in a stationary position, the hand brakes MUST be locked. x Do not sit on the seat when the rollator is on an incline. x Do not use the rollator to walk backwards, down gradients, or to climb stairs, curbs or to go over obstacles. Serious risk of fall or injury may occur. x Do not perform any adjustments to the rollator while it is in use. x Only use accessories and spare parts authorized by Invacare for use with this rollator specifically.

Figure 1: Assembled Rollator (continued) 1. Carefully remove the Basic Rollator and Backrest from the shipping carton. Refer to diagram (Figure 1) as needed. 2. Examine all parts for shipping damage. DO NOT use the rollator if there is apparent damage or if any parts are missing. If there are missing or damaged parts, please call Invacare Customer Care toll free on 1800 460 460 (Australia) or 0508 468 222 (New Zealand). 3. To set up the rollator, hold one handlebar and push down on the seat (F) until all four wheels are extended out and the seat is fully flat. Make sure that all four wheels make contact with the floor and the rollator is stable in the open position. 4. Insert the padded backrest bar (D) so that the padded portion faces the front of the rollator. Slip the backrest bar into the brackets until the push buttons on the bar lock into place. 5. Check to make sure all other nuts, bolts and screws are tightly fastened. 6. Check all of the wheels to see that they are in good working order and roll freely.

Operating Instructions OPENING / FOLDING THE ROLLATOR Opening Hold one handlebar and push down on the seat (F) until all four wheels are extended out and the seat is fully flat. Before using the rollator make sure that all four wheels make contact with the floor and the rollator is stable in the open position. Folding x For more compact storage, remove the backrest. x Pull up on the strap under the seat until the rollator closes. ADJUSTING THE POSITION OF THE HANDLEBARS x To determine proper height, stand upright behind the rollator with shoulders relaxed, arms hanging at your side and eyes looking straight ahead. Standing in this position, the handgrips (A) of the rollator should be adjusted to a height, which is even with the wrists. This will position the arms at an approximate 20º to 30º bend when using the rollator. x To adjust the handlebar height, remove the height adjustment hand nut and screw from the frame (C). x Slide the handlebars in the rollator frame until they are at the proper height and the holes in the handlebars and frame are aligned. Place the screw through the aligned holes in the handlebars and frame. The holes in the frame are hexagonal in shape to accommodate the head of the screw. x Place the washer over the screw and then apply the hand nut. Hand-tighten firmly. CHECKING / ADJUSTING / OPERATING THE BRAKES x Before each use, check to make sure the brakes are working properly. x Pulling up on the brake handles locks the wheels momentarily. x Pushing down on the brake handles will lock the wheels in place. x To adjust the brakes, use a 10mm wrench to tighten the 10mm nut while holding the cable-housing nut. x Brake cables should be flush along the legs of the Rollator. Ensure excess brake cable loops out the front of the Rollator. Caution: After making any adjustments to the rollator brakes, you must test the brakes before the rollator is used. See Maintenance instructions. To Operate the Brakes x To slow down, squeeze the brake handles up. x To lock the brakes, push down on the brake handles until you feel or hear the brakes click into locked position. If the brakes have been adjusted but the rear wheels on the rollator move while the brakes are in the locked position, DO NOT use the rollator. Using the Rollator when walking For proper positioning and use of your rollator, imagine a line drawn across the back of the rear wheels. Part of one foot should be slightly ahead of that line as you walk. Using the Rollator as a Seat x SAFETY WARNINGS: Also See General Warnings and Safety, Page 2 x Before using the seat portion of your rollator, ALWAYS lock the brakes FIRST. x DO NOT navigate the rollator while sitting on the seat. The brakes should always be locked when the seat is being used. Risk of fall and serious injury may result if brakes are not locked while the user is sitting on the seat. x DO NOT use the seat without the backrest. Falls are possible if the user leans or slides backwards on the seat. x DO NOT sit on the walker if the ground is sloped or uneven. x DO NOT exceed the maximum weight capacity of 250 lbs. x DO NOT use the rollator as a wheelchair.

Maintenance Your Invacare Rollator should be checked periodically to ensure the brakes are functioning properly and that all nuts and bolts are secure. Periodically test the brakes by both walking and squeezing the brakes and by stopping, pushing down on the brakes to a locked position, and then trying to push the walker. If the brakes do not lock the wheels, the brakes need to be adjusted. If adjustment does not tighten the brakes, DO NOT use the rollator. Keep your receipt.
