General information IMPORTANT ! Use this Instruction Manual only in conjunction with the instruction manual of the corresponding instrument. IMPORTANT ! Follow the current ”Notes and instructions on the reprocessing of Richard Wolf products, accessories and devices”, order no.: GA--J 020. Do not use disinfectants containing peracetic acid without corrosion protection agents, phenols or chlorine components for the reprocessing of Richard Wolf products. Do not exceed the maximum exposure time specified by the manufacturer of the disinfectants used.

With disassembly tool (6) Slide on the tool as far as it will go and compress, as shown in Fig. 3. The stopcock plug (B) disengages from the stopcock housing (3). Remove the stopcock plug (B)

Clean the stopcock plug (B) and stopcock housing (3) with suitable cleaning brushes or a soft cloth. Keep rinsing the stopcock housing (3) with the cleaning gun until the water running out is clear. Then dry all parts inside and out with a soft cloth or compressed air.

Machine reprocessing IMPORTANT ! Rinse out all channels and hollow spaces immediately after use to prevent any surgical residues from drying on the surfaces. Dry preparation at the point of use Disassembly before cleaning: see Section 3 Machine cleaning / disinfection Place the stopcock plug (B) in a small--parts sieve. Connect the stopcock housing (3) via Luer connectors (5) to the washer / disinfector in such a way that complete rinsing of the inside is possible (Fig. 5).

Checks Check the stopcock plug (B) and stopcock housing (3) for damage, sharp edges and rough surfaces. Any lettering, labeling or identification necessary for the safe intended use must be legible. Any missing or illegible lettering, labeling or identification which may lead to wrong handling or reprocessing must be restored. Check that the stopcock plug (B) is securely engaged in the stopcock housing (3). Fig. 6

Check the stopcocks for tightness. Connect a supply tube, turn the stopcock plug (B) to the closed position. Replace the stopcock (B) should the stopcock leak. Check the stopcock plug (B) for easy operation inside the stopcock housing (3). If the stopcock is difficult to turn: Grease the stopcock plug (B) with special grease.

Insert the stopcock plug (B) into the stopcock housing (3). You can feel and hear the stopcock plug (B) engage in the housing. Open the stopcock plug (B).
