Alaris® Docking Station removal and installation PSU procedure
OVERVIEW This Technical Publication shows the removal and installation of the Alaris® Docking station PSU. REMOVAL PROCEDURE REQUIRED EQUIPMENT •
Posi screwdriver or Torx T20 depending on the version of Docking Station
1. Remove the bottom Tile assembly from the DS unit. 2. Disconnect the DC, AC and Earth cables from the tile assembly and separate from the base. 3. Unscrew the Earth cable(s) from PSU Heat sink and assembly from the base. 4. Unscrew the Power tile from the base and remove. 5. Unplug the switch wiring loom from PL1 on the PSU. 6. Unscrew the PSU from the front cover

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
•
PSU Installation is the reverse of the PSU removal procedure.
1. Align the PSU to the front cover and fasten down the screws. 2. Plug in the switch wiring loom to PL1 on the PSU. 3. Route the wiring loom through to the top side of the Heatsink plate. 4. Fit the front cover assembly and earth cables to the base of the unit. Fasten down the screws. Ensure the assembly does not hang over the extrusion edge. 5. Plug the DC, AC and Earth cables into the tile assembly. 6. Re-fasten the Power tile and the docking tile assembly down
