Front housing 3 Safety features A syringe clamp ( Potentiometer sensor ) to detect
the syringe size. A flanges detection sensor ( µ switch ) that control
the correct placement of the syringe and avoids any free flow. The anti-siphon arms ( Optical sensor and µ
switch ) who maintaint he syringe head and avoid any free flow.

Injectomat Agilia start up
Auto-test
Last used syringe is proposed
The syringe size is automatically detected
Confirm the syringe
Press bolus key to reduce the mecahnical play
Select and validate the flow rate

Exercise of use (1)
Switch on the device Install the syringe filled at 10cc volume Select a syringe and confirm Launch an infusion at 100 ml/h Display the battery autonomy Prime the line Change the flow rate to 200 ml/h Wait till the end of infusion pre-alarm trigged Press Silence alarm key to cancel the audible alarm Wait the end of infusion alarm is trigged Switch off the device

Security features, exercise n°: 2
Switch ON the Injectomat Agilia
Install a syringe on the device, flanges out of the syringe groove, Anti-siphon arm free.
Check the presence of the message “ Syringe installation“ on the display
Check the audible alarm
Install the syringe correctly
The syringe can be validated
Switch OFF the Injectomat Agilia D190220-0
Pressure sensor Mechanical interface

Pressure sensor
D190220-0
Pressure detection
A pressure sensor is build into the plunger
The pressure level is adjustable from 100 mmHg to 900 mmHg
2 modes are available - Variable mode - 3 levels selection mode
Dps “ Dynamic pressure system“
An anti bolus system release‘s the pressure in the line after an occlusion alarm

Syringe size detection
This is no automatic detection The syringe brand / size proposed by the device in the list has a diameter within D = +/- 1.5 mm tolerance Using a potentiometer Eg:
The syringe installed on the device should correspond to the one that will be validated

Displacement sensor Schematic:
Specifications Subject
Description
Technology
Linear carbon layer protected a plastic layer
Linearity
+/- 1 % ( 1 mm)
Waterproofs
High
All other tolerances are identical except the contact
Contact by ball => +/- 0.3 mm
Assembly of the potentiometer in the device
The potentiometer is glued under pressure. Precaution should be taken,
Design precaution
The ball should not press too much => deformation and reduction of its life time . D190220-0 If the ball does not press enough => bad contact
Displacement sensor Tolerances Tolerances Ball contact
+/- 0.3 mm
ADC resolution
+/- 0.15 mm
ADC error
+/- 0.15 mm
Tolerance include by calibration
+/- 0.15 mm
Total
+/- 1.1 mm
Linearity
Reduced by linearisation process
Linearisation process The target is to know the real signal of the sensor. These known values are controlled during the linearisation process.
