Atom Power Pack i Battery Replacement
Note: These instructions apply to the following Atom Power Pack i models: • 61581 Atom Power Pack i with Lithium-ion battery - uses 95755 Lithium-ion Battery Pack (1 x battery) • 61624 Atom Power Pack i with Lead-acid battery - uses 98755 Lead-acid Battery Pack (2 x batteries)
Caution: • Battery replacement may cause electric shock or burns if a short circuit occurs. Please read the following instructions carefully to ensure minimum risk when replacing batteries. • Before replacement, remove any jewellery including watches, rings, necklaces or anything else which may be made of, or contain, metal. • Only use tools with insulated handles. • Do not place tools or metal objects on the batteries. • As soon as the battery has been disconnected, the Power Pack i will begin to discharge voltage. To avoid a spark while reconnecting the battery, it is recommend to complete the following process within 30 minutes.

Lithium-ion Battery Replacement 1. Turn off both the front and rear power switches and remove the power cables and the signal cable.
9. Remove the battery avoiding contact with the connector.
2. Remove the Power Pack from the high/low stand. 3. Carefully remove all eight (8) screw caps using the cutting knife.
4. Remove all eight (8) screws and setup washers.
10. Replace the battery by following the previous steps in reverse order. Make sure you reconnect the battery plug completely as a partial connection may cause a spark and/ or short circuit to occur.
11. Connect the Power Pack i to a power point.
5. Remove the unit cover slowly, avoiding contact with the main circuit board. 6. Disconnect the battery pack from the main unit by grasping the connector plugs and pulling them apart. Do not attempt to disconnect the pack by pulling on the connection wires.
7. Place the Power Pack on a soft surface to avoid scratching the front panel. 8. Remove the battery panel cover by removing the five (5) screws.
12. Hold down the ‘Reset’ button for approximately five (5) seconds while switching the Power Pack i on. This will reset the battery lifespan counter for your new battery. 13. Allow the unit to charge for over 24 hours before use.
Lead-acid Battery Replacement 1. Turn off both the front and rear power switches and remove the power cables and the signal cable.
9. Remove the two (2) terminals which connect the battery to the Power Pack.
2. Remove the Power Pack from the high/low stand. 3. Carefully remove all eight (8) screw caps using the cutting knife
10. Disconnect the jumper terminal which connects the two (2) batteries. 4. Remove all eight (8) screws and setup washers.
5. Remove the battery cover slowly, avoiding contact with the main circuit board. 6. Remove the battery panel cover by removing the five (5) screws.
11. Replace the battery by following the previous steps in reverse order. Make sure you reconnect the battery plug completely as a partial connection may cause a spark and/ or short circuit to occur. 12. Connect the Power Pack i to a power point. 13.
