Attaching the Column to the Base Tools Required • 7/16'' nut driver or socket wrench (not provided) • 3/16'' T-handle hex wrench (provided)
CAUTION: Two people are required to perform this task. 1. Remove materials (rear cover, etc) from carton, leaving only the protective packing at ends of Column in place inside the carton as shown. Installation Note: Retain packing material for use during assembly.
2. Unfold cardboard packing that was used to secure the upper Column and place on floor. Cardboard should be positioned to correspond with Keyboard Drawer and Shelves as shown.
3. Fold carton flaps to outside and carefully turn carton and Column upside down onto the cardboard. Do not allow the Column to fall out of the carton.
4. Lift carton off Column and carefully remove loose packing material from ends of Column. Do not remove packing material from Keyboard Drawer or Shelves. Column must be positioned as shown for attachment of Base.

Barcodes for the LS2208 Barcode Scanner Scan the following barcodes into the scanner to produce the appropriate line feed, remove sound after good decode, and reduce its volume upon start-up. Acceptance of a valid scan is confirmed by a tone or tones emanating from the reader. Barcodes should be scanned in the following order: • This barcode sets the barcode scanner to default settings (factory settings). To ensure the scanner is set to default, scan this code.
• The following four barcodes must be scanned into the barcode scanner consecutively so that it will provide a line feed / tab to next field.

Routine Maintenance Periodically inspect all fasteners associated with the mounting system. Tighten or adjust as necessary for optimal operation and safety. Cleaning the Mounting Assembly 1. The mounting assembly may be cleaned with most mild, non-abrasive solutions commonly used in the hospital environment (e.g. diluted bleach, ammonia, or alcohol solutions). 2. The surface finish will be permanently damaged by strong chemicals and solvents such as acetone and trichloroethylene. 3. Do not use steel wool or other abrasive material to clean the mounting assembly. 4. Damage caused by the use of unapproved substances or processes will not be covered by warranty. We recommend testing of any cleaning solution on a small area of the mounting assembly that is not visible to verify compatibility. 5. Never submerge the roll stand or allow liquids to enter the mounting assemblies. Wipe any cleaning agents off the mounting assembly immediately using a water-dampened cloth. Dry all mounting assemblies thoroughly after cleaning. CAUTION: Natus Medical Incorporated makes no claims regarding the efficacy of the listed chemicals or processes as a means for controlling infection. Consult your hospital’s infection control officer or epidemiologist. To clean or sterilize mounted instruments or accessory equipment, refer to the specific instructions delivered with those products.
