Primus® Family* Breathing System Disassembly/Assembly
Disassembly Loosen the three screws of the ventilator with a hexagon key.
Pull the breathing system up and out by the handle.
Remove the upper ventilator diaphragm.

90° Use the handle to insert the breathing system into the mounting fixture.
Tighten the three screws of the ventilator with a hexagon key. Remove the CLIC CO2 absorber. Unscrew the CLIC adapter (optional).
Insert the cleaning disk into the adapter. Close the adapter until it clicks into place.
Screw on the CLIC adapter (optional). Insert the CLIC CO2 absorber.
Remove cleaning disk from the adapter. Close the adapter so that it can click into place.
Remove both flow sensors.
Loosen the five screws of the breathing system with a screwdriver and remove the cover.
Insert the ventilator diaphragm so that the Dräger inscription is visible from above. Loosen the inspiration and expiration nozzles and pull them off.
Put on the inspiration nozzle and expiration nozzle and turn to tighten. Lift up the middle part of the breathing system.

90° Insert both flow sensors. * Primus Infinity Empowered, Primus, Pallas, Apollo
Place the cover on the breathing system and tighten the five screws with a screwdriver.
Place the middle part of the breathing system on the bottom part of the housing.

Immersion Disinfection: Please use the disinfectants listed in the operating instructions for Dräger flow sensors. Machine cleaning and disinfection: Position components so that all interior spaces and surfaces are completely flushed and water can drain off freely. Sterilization: SpiroLife® flow sensors are not suitable for plasma or radiation sterilisation.
