Publication Information This document describes version 1.00 of MAC™ 5 Resting ECG Analysis System, also referred to as the “product” or "system" or "device". Date of first CE mark - 2022. The MAC™ 5 Resting ECG Analysis System is intended to be used, under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner by trained operators in a hospital or facility providing patient care. This document provides information required for the proper use of the system. Familiarize yourself with this information and read and understand all instructions before attempting to use this system. Keep this document with the Regulatory and Safety manual, and with the equipment at all times, and periodically review it. NOTE: Illustrations in this document are provided as examples only. Depending on system configuration, screens in the document may differ from the screens on your system. Patient names and data are fictitious. Any similarity to actual persons is coincidental. The document part number and revision are on each page of the document. The revision identifies the document’s update level. The revision history of this document is summarized in the following table.

Introduction
1 Introduction Overview The MAC 5 resting ECG analysis systems allow you to save and export resting ECGs in Extensible Markup Language (XML) format for storage and analysis. Data not entered or calculated at the device will not appear in the XML file.
Technology The conversion of data to XML is based upon a fixed set of data tags. The data tags are contained in XML schema files defined by GE Healthcare. Each specific test type has its own schema file. This manual assumes a working knowledge of XML. It is not intended as a guide to XML nor its terminology. You are encouraged to take advantage of the abundance of information about XML and the XML data specification available on the Internet.

Alphanumeric A value containing a combination of numbers and/or letters. Numeric

A number within the specified range. Examples of the numeric data types are: •
16 Bit Signed - Range from -32765 to +32765. If the sign is not explicitly defined, it is assumed to be a positive value.

32 Bit Unsigned - Range from 0 to 4,294,967,293.

Date data type containing the day, month, and year. The date must be formatted as YYYY-MM-DD, where:

Time data type containing the hour, minutes, seconds, and milliseconds. The time must be formatted as HH:MM:SS, where: •

SS = Second (00 to 59)
There are many elements with predefined values. For example, the gender element must be one of the following predefined values: •
M = Male

F = Female

U = Unspecified
