Shutdown response of the Zeus IE
3.1
Shutdown 1. In Standby on the Infinity C500 press the On/Off key. The Shutdown? dialog box opens up. 2. Tap the on-screen Shutdown button. The system is shut down.
3.2
Monitor reset If the screen is no longer responding to operator inputs, the monitor can be rebooted. 1. Press and hold down the On/Off key on the Infinity C500 for at least 4 seconds. The monitor is switched off. 2. After switching off, press the On/Off key again. Reboot: The Zeus IE reboots the monitor. This takes about 3 minutes. During this time no monitoring is available. –
Ventilation continues (fresh gas mode at 0.5 L/min; with ext. FG outlet option: 3 L/min).
–
Check ventilation with a mechanical manometer. Carry out manual ventilation as necessary.
After rebooting: –
3.3
Safety settings are active, meaning all settings are retained. Exception gas metering: delivery 0.5 L/min O2 without anesthetic.
Quitting service mode CAUTION Keep to the following sequence! If the following sequence is not followed when restarting the Zeus IE, it may not start up correctly and exhibit malfunctions. When restarting the Zeus IE, be sure to keep to the sequence set out below. 1. Click the "Next Reboot To Hermes" button in the Service Tool and shut down the cockpit by choosing Shut down the computer from the menu. 2. Switch off Zeus at the power switch. Wait until the audible signal stops. 3. Turn the power switch back on.

5.1
Pipeline supply module complete
Purpose The pipeline supply module comprises a gas carrying component, the Pipeline Supply Block PCB and the DAGMAR PCB. The pipeline supply module performs the following functions: –
Feed-in of the required compressed gases by way of pipeline supply or cylinder connections
–
Monitoring of the input pressures
–
Reduction of the compressed gases to a level withstandable by the system
No.2201_0000005424-001
In the gas-carrying component of the pipeline supply module the compressed gases can be reduced as required and fed to the relevant assemblies.

5.2
Fig. 5
Extract, gas flow diagram, gas inlet block
The compressed gases O2, N2O and AIR are fed in via the pipeline supply to the gas supply block of the pipeline supply module.
The compressed gas flows out of the pipeline supply from the pipeline supply port through the filter (27) to the pressure sensor (28). The pressure sensor signal is processed in the Pipeline Supply Block PCB (see also function description for Pipeline Supply Block PCB). The compressed gas flows on to
