Aisys Datex-Ohmeda, Inc., a General Electric Company, doing business as GE Healthcare. Datex-Ohmeda products have unit serial numbers with coded logic which indicates a product group code, the year of manufacture, and a sequential unit number for identification. The serial number can be in one of two formats. A AA X 11111
AAA XX 111111AA
The X represents an alpha character The XX represents a number indicating indicating the year the product was the year the product was manufactured; manufactured; H = 2004, J = 2005, etc. 04 = 2004, 05 = 2005, etc. I and O are not used.
