(No need to stop or unlock pump).

KEYPAD LOCK When the keypad is in full lock all functions are locked out except access to HELP & OPTIONS (Review Program & Histories)

CHANGE PROGRAM

1. To increase or decrease programmed values STOP & UNLOCK the pump, then choose: CHANGE 3 CHANGE PROGRAM

Pump unlocked Pump will flash “Keypad Unlocked” Lock symbol and F no longer appear on screen. (NB If wrong code is entered, press START then STOP and re-enter correct code)

On completion, press ENTER to exit to main screen (There is no need to stop or unlock the pump)

And follow prompts. 2. To remove background infusion, as above and reduce rate to 0. 3. To add background infusion, STOP & UNLOCK the pump, then select:

CHANGE 2 NEW PROGRAM

To cease infusion then reprogram pump

Tips You can press the BACKUP key to exit most areas including HELP, CHANGE and OPTIONS You must stop the infusion and unlock the keypad prior to making changes or turning the pump off

The purge key will not work if:
“Start” has been pushed prior to using Purge function to prime the set
If an air in line alarm has not sounded The New Container function will not work if:
The last bag was hung within 2 hours or under 50% of the volume has been infused. How to get around it:
If replacing the line, program a new container prior to priming the line.
If you can not push purge or enter a new container then you will have to reprogram the pump as if for a new patient
