Background A new version of the Annual Certification Test (ACT) software, version 1.6.0, has been released. The ACT instructions were updated. In Addition, the instructions regarding pump software update were updated. What’s new? The Service Manual Addendum has been updated. The updates include: 1. It is not required to set the pump to factory defaults after completion of the ACT. Pump configuration settings are maintained following the completion of the ACT. In case the ACT has terminated unexpectedly, the following pump parameters may change: o KVO in Continuous delivery mode o Set Prime Volume o Accumulated Air detector In case the ACT has terminated unexpectedly it is recommended to set the pump to factory defaults. 2. If using an SC bolus handle (bolus handle with a grey button) test the bolus handle prior to connecting the pump to the computer. There are no other changes to the ACT flow or to the software interface. 3. Following the pump’s software update the Occlusion Pressure setting value configured on the pump may change. To maintain pump configuration, record the Occlusion pressure value before the pump software update. After the software update has completed, configure the pump with the original Occlusion pressure value. 4. Following the pump’s software update additional pump settings may be added (according to the software updated). If additional settings were added they are set to factory defaults.

Additional information 1. ACT version 1.6.0 is available for download from Q Core’s FTP site. The old ACT version was removed from the site and is not available for use. 2. Refer to the updated Service Manual Addendum available on the Service Portal and on the FTP site.
