INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Model 1017 Probe and Model 2024 Cable

The Model 1017 probe is an extremely delicate surgical instrument. Do not drop the probe. The probe is completely sealed and cannot be repaired or serviced. Damage from mechanical shock will void the warranty. The probe must be connected to the control unit of the neo2000® Gamma Detection System. See complete instructions on setup and operation in the neo2000 operation manual.



Connect probe, cable and collimator (optional) as shown above.



The probe and accessories are sold nonsterile. Clean and disinfect before and between each patient. The probe, collimator and cable must be used with a sterile surgical drape or sterilized by STERRAD® SYSTEM or EO. See complete cleaning and sterilization instructions in the Product Cleaning & Sterilization IFUs available on the Manual CD included with product. Do not autoclave probes or cables. High heat may damage components.
