Profusion EEG 5.0 Build 1308 Release Notes Introduction Profusion EEG 5 is a major upgrade from Profusion EEG 4.3. It builds upon all the features of Profusion EEG 4 but with new exciting features to make recording, scoring and analysis of EEG easier. Profusion EEG 5 software suite comprises the following programs: • Profusion EEG 5.0 • Cortical Stimulator (requires dongle code) • Profusion Study Manager • NetBeacon • Configure Neuvo IP • Neuvo Alias Filter Settings • Grael Configuration • Siesta 802 Config Tool • Data Card Manager • License Viewer
Changes in Profusion EEG 5.0 from 4.3 GUI Foreign Language Support Support for French and Italian has been added.
NetView NetView has been renamed to LiveView.
Bookmarks Bookmarks now store montage and filter settings.
Viewed Events Viewed events are now shown on a per user basis. They also update with concurrent editing.

With clip traces on:
Sensitivity Changing the sensitivity with the slider now moves it to the nearest integer value. Sensitivity changes with up/down arrows keys jumps to nearest integer jump of 1, 5, 10, or 50 based on sensitivity value.
EEG Traces Context Menu Context menu items "Zoom out fully" and "Show all graphs" are disabled appropriately now.

Profusion EEG 5.0 Release Notes May 2014 The sensitivity of the selection can now be easily changed using the slider or the text box
Overriding sensitivity and filters is now under the “Global Overrides” menu option. You can also now create a montage from selected traces or from what is viewed.
“Floaty” Toolbar A “floaty” toolbar appears when you hover the mouse pointer over the trace labels. This allows you to change sensitivity and filters of ALL traces in the trace’s group. You can also change the time base.
The “floaty” toolbar also appears with the context menu (right mouse click). If traces are selected, the change of sensitivity and filters works on the selection. If no traces are selected, the change of sensitivity and filters works on the group on which the hovered over trace is in.
As Recorded If “As Recorded” is on, the “As Recorded” values now appear in parentheses after the current values.
If “As Recorded” is off, the only the current (actual) values are shown.

Fully Compatible with Larger Font Sizes If the user changes the font to a bigger size, (which is necessary on some high resolution laptops), all the text in windows and dialogs displays nicely.
Study Start Time Study start time is now when the user first starts recording. This means the summary bar does not show the time not recording.
Goto Window – pre-recorded events The Goto window does not show events which occurred before recording.

Goto Window – Study Time or Real Time, Colour Tabs, Hyperventilation tab The Goto window also has colour tabs and icons in the tabs. A Hyperventilation tab has been added. The Goto Window now shows Study Time or Real Time. User can change by right clicking on the column header. Goto list now selects the last viewed annotation in the EEG traces - so that it updates while user scrolls through EEG data.

Goto Window – Save Data When data is marked for deletion (marked with a dark shaded region), the Time tab of the Goto window now shows the sections of data which will remain after deletion. These are shown as Event Type "Save Data".

Workflow Montage Configuration You can make a reference montage from a selected group of electrodes. If none are selected then all of them are used. You can also now create a montage from selected traces or from what is viewed.

Profusion EEG 5.0 Release Notes May 2014 Electrode Placement When configuring Electrode Placements you can now add custom trace groups. Groups can be assigned colours and initial sensitivities and filter values and of course electrodes. This is particularly useful when setting up grid patients. When creating a reference montage from an Electrode Placement the electrodes will automatically have the colours, sensitivity and filter settings of the group they are in.
The trace tools active group combo box shows the group colours.

Study Data Automatic Close of Review Study There is now an option to automatically close a review study after a set time of user inactivity. Very useful for allowing Nexus to finish carting studies.

Profusion EEG 5.0 Release Notes May 2014 Retrieve Lost Packets Lost data can now be retrieved from Siesta recordings if you record to hard disk and the data card. This can be done at the end of the recording while the Siesta is still connected. ProfusionEEG5 prompts the user. Or it can be done later via the data card.
Disk Space Monitoring Disk space and the rate at which it is being consumed can now be displayed in either graphical view or more compact text view. “Available” is study data which Nexus has marked as being able to delete – and will if the free space gets too small.
