4. ASSEMBLY & REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES

WARNINGS   

Caution: Qualified Service Center Personnel Only Eye protection should be worn at all times during servicing Disassembly Sequence by Sub-Assembly

CAUTION 

Prior to the commencement of any hands-on servicing make sure power cord is disconnected

General: Follow the exploded graphic depiction and component orientation of all the subassemblies and hardware as regulation for re-assembling. Make absolutely sure that all reassembly of components utilize each and every BOM listed component without compromise. Torque value of various sizes of hardware: Most, if not all the hardware/fasteners utilize locking type nuts, and hence, torque wrench settings cannot be preset, based on the fact of binding affects. It is therefore the responsibility of the service personnel to use their service training skills and experience to make judgment decisions on the tightness of attaching fasteners for each serviced sub-assembly. Electrical: For electrical hook-up see Appendix A Precaution: "Nylock" type lock nuts (nylon inserts) shall only be utilized one time. New unused nuts shall be employed on every serviced re-assembled sub-assembly. Servicing Tools: Make sure that all servicing tools are in good working condition and bacteria free prior to use. Service Completion: Following the service completion on any bed frame, testing protocols shall be strictly adhered to and thoroughly scrutinized before returning unit back into a clinical environment.
