1 Basic Operation
1.1 Starting and Shutting Down the System 1.1.1
Starting the System To start the system, turn the key switch to the ON
position.
The system confirms its functions before the remaining battery charge is indicated on the battery indicator. After the battery charge status has been indicated, the system can be moved, the arm lock released, or the DR system started. When the (standby indicator lamp) is illuminated, radiography can be performed. The following limits are placed on X-ray radiography depending on the remaining battery charge display. No.

1.1 Starting and Shutting Down the System
1 •
The (standby indicator lamp) will illuminate almost immediately if restarting the system directly after shutting it down; It may take as long as 1 minute to illuminate if restarting after the system has not been performed over a long period of time.
•
If the key switch is turned ON with buttons or levers left ON, code [A4] to [A11] appears on the mAs display. Release the switch or lever.
•
If the key switch is turned ON with the hand switch still depressed, code [F64] or [F65] appears on the mAs display. Release the hand switch.
•
Please note that the battery voltage rises temporarily immediately after the system is turned ON. As a result, the battery indicator will indicate more than the actual remaining charge. After the system is used for a while, the battery display will return to its actual remaining charge.
•
If the key switch is turned ON with the emergency stop button still depressed, code [F6d] appears on the mAs display. If the emergency stop button is reset after the key switch is turned ON with the emergency stop button in the pressed state, code [d20] or [d21] will appear and the system will lock tight. In this case, restart the system while the emergency stop button is in the reset state.

position.
•
When leaving the system unattended, be sure to turn the key switch to OFF remove the key, and keep it in an appropriate place.
•
The DR system does not shut down even if the key switch is turned to the OFF position. When leaving the system unattended, be sure to shut down the DR system. If the DR system is running without connecting the power plug to an outlet, the battery will be completely discharged within a few hours from when the last bar on the battery indicator goes out; this may significantly reduce the battery life and performance.
•
When not using the system for a long period of time, turn the main circuit breaker to OFF.

Auto-Power-Off Function
1
When the key switch is ON , the auto-power-off function shuts the system off if not used for a long time. The auto-power-off function default setting is 5 minutes. When the auto-power-off function starts up, [at] and [OFF] is displayed on the kV and mAs displays until the system is shut off. When power to the system turns off, the status indicator lamp slowly lights up blue.
* The time setting can be changed if necessary.

1.1 Starting and Shutting Down the System
1 •
The auto-power-off function does not activate if the power plug is connected to an outlet.
•
After the auto-power-off function activates, connecting the power plug to an outlet starts battery charging.
•
Even if the auto-power-off function stops the system, a small amount of power from the battery will still be consumed. Turn the key switch to the OFF position when the system is not in use. If the system is left for several days in the auto-power-off state, the battery will be completely discharged, which may lead to significantly reduced battery life and overall performance.
•
If All LEDs on the battery indicator are not illuminated, the auto-power-off function will automatically start in 5 minutes to prevent wearing out the battery.
•
If the DR system is running without connecting the power plug to an outlet, the battery will be completely discharged within a few hours from when the last bar on the battery indicator goes out; this may significantly reduce the battery life and performance.
•
The auto-power off function does not turn off the DR system. By performing the setting on the DR system, the DR system can be automatically stopped to reduce battery consumption when a certain period of time elapses with the study list screen displayed.

1 Basic Operation
1.2 Warm-up the X-Ray Tube Unit X-ray tube unit must be warmed up before it can be used.
Always perform warm-up the X-ray tube unit before starting radiography. Before performing warm-up, be sure to fully close the collimator leaf. In particular, if X-ray tube voltage is set to over 100 kV, warm-up should be performed on a daily basis. Performing radiography without warm-up the X-ray tube unit may cause an electrical discharge.
