Not all products are available in all locations. Check with your local Spacelabs Healthcare representative.
Figure 2-1: Xhibit Central Station touchscreen displays
You can monitor up to 48 patients using multiple displays. You can customize how patient data shows on the display. Customization includes patient demographics, waveforms, numerics, and alarms settings. You can change alarms settings on the bedside monitor by changing them at the Central Station. You can also configure alarms settings for telemetry devices at the Central Station. You can open Intesys® Clinical Suite (ICS) Clinical Access on a dedicated display directly from a Patient Zone on the Xhibit Central Station.
Note:
Instructions or illustrations in this manual related to the use of Intesys Clinical Suite (ICS) Clinical Access do not apply to Xhibit XC4 (96501). To use ICS requires a dedicated display to function at a central station, which is not an option for the Xhibit XC4.

Xhibit® Central Station (96102) and Xhibit XC4 (96501) with Telemetry
Introduction
Real-time Patient Data Multiple-Patient Display The 96102 Xhibit Central Station shows data for up to 48 patients. To simplify the display of patient data, the 96102 Xhibit Central Station limits the number of patients per display to 16. You can connect up to three displays to show a total of 48 patients. Each display can also show a patient-centric view-the Patient View-that provides more detail than the multi-patient view. When a dedicated display is connected to the system, the 96102 Xhibit Central Station can connect to four displays. Three displays are for remote patient monitoring and one is the dedicated display for the Patient View.
Patient View The Patient View allows you to see detailed data for a specific patient and still maintain the data for multiple patients on the same display. The Patient View shows on the lower half of a multipatient display. To allow for a more detailed view of data for a specific patient, the Patient View takes up the full screen on a dedicated display. When this view is enabled on a multiple-patient display, the upper half of the display shows a compressed presentation of the multipatient display.
Equipment Components Standard components of the Xhibit Central Station include: • central processing unit (CPU) • keyboard • mouse • 54.6 cm (21.5 inches) diagonal touchscreen display (P/N 011-0241-02) More components of the Xhibit Central Station include: • mounting options
Note:
An English keyboard ships with this product or you can use the onscreen keyboard. Intesys Clinical Suite (ICS) Clinical Access features require a physical keyboard.
Functionality The Xhibit Central Station is compatible with networked Spacelabs Healthcare Ultraview®, Ultraview SL®, Xprezzon®, Qube®, and Qube Mini bedside monitors. Refer to the customer documentation for your specific bedside monitor or other device for more information. The Xhibit Central Station, when combined with the 96280 Xhibit Telemetry Receiver, is compatible with the 96281-A, -B, -C AriaTele® transmitters, and the Ultraview SL® 90341, 90347, 90343, 91341, 91343, and 91347 telemetry transmitters. Only the 96281-C, 90343, and 91343 telemetry transmitters include SpO2. For more information on network setup for telemetry, refer to Biomed-Network Setup on page 25-30. Xhibit also allows Flexport channels to show on the display as unique parameters. If a supported Flexport is connected to the bedside monitor, Xhibit shows the Flexport data. For more information on Flexports with Xhibit, refer to Flexport System Interface and Xhibit on page 16-1. www.spacelabshealthcare.com

Xhibit® Central Station (96102) and Xhibit XC4 (96501) with Telemetry
Introduction
The Xhibit Central Station functionality allows you to: • monitor up to 48 patients on three displays; 16 patients per display • to search patient data • create and print manual, scheduled or device reports • print PDF format reports • use Intesys Clinical Suite (ICS) Clinical Access • view real-time patient data • customize Patient Zones • review alarms and make changes to alarm settings • save settings automatically • access trended vital signs data
Intended Use The Spacelabs Healthcare Xhibit Central Station (Xhibit Central Station, Model 96102 and Xhibit XC4, Model 96501) intended use is to provide clinicians with central monitoring of adult, pediatric and neonatal patient data of patients connected to networked Spacelabs Healthcare patient monitors and telemetry transmitters. Data includes physiological waveforms and calculations, cardiac arrhythmia and ST data, and patient demographic information to monitor adequacy of treatment or to exclude causes of symptoms. The Spacelabs Healthcare Xhibit (Xhibit Central Station, Model 96102 and Xhibit XC4, Model 96501) is a prescription device intended for use under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare professional. The Spacelabs Healthcare 96280 Telemetry Receiver is intended to provide the Spacelabs Healthcare monitoring system with adult, pediatric and neonatal patient data of patients connected to Spacelabs Healthcare telemetry transmitters. Data includes physiological waveforms and calculations, cardiac arrhythmia and ST data, and patient demographic information to monitor adequacy of treatment or to exclude causes of symptoms.
Overview of Xhibit XC4 (96501) The Spacelabs Healthcare Xhibit XC4 provides central monitoring of patient data in the patient vicinity on a medical grade all-in-one computer with display. You can monitor from one to four patients at any location with connectivity to the Spacelabs Healthcare patient monitor network. This four-bed central station at the point-of-care provides clinicians with the ability to monitor other beds, including telemetry patients. The Xhibit XC4 provides full interactive capability to admit, discharge, and modify patient information and to update parameter settings. The 96102 Xhibit Central Station software is installed on the 96501 Xhibit XC4. The Xhibit XC4 display has a capacitive anti-glare touchscreen. Keyboard and mouse are optional. The main difference between the Xhibit Central Station and the Xhibit XC4-besides hardware-is that one accommodates up to 48 patients and the other up to four patients. Both systems provide real-time alarms for monitored patients. Due to the touchscreen size differential, monitoring patients could present limitations due to the size of the Xhibit XC4 display. Unlike the 96102 Xhibit Central Station, it is not possible to connect additional displays to the Xhibit XC4 unit.
Note:
The use of the name Xhibit Central Station refers to both the 96102 and the 96501 central stations. They share the same software and functionality unless otherwise specified in this manual.
For more information, refer to Appendix B - Product Specifications, Xhibit XC4 (96501) on page B-1 appendix.
