CLEANING AND STERILIZATION GUIDE†
iDrive™ Ultra Powered Stapling System
MANUAL 1.
Wipe down the components with a lint-free cloth soaked in a pH-neutral detergent solution.

Immerse the components in a warm enzymatic bath diluted per the manufacturer’s specifications and soak for ten minutes.

Inspect the components for cleanliness.
5.
Manually agitate the devices in the enzymatic bath for a minimum of one minute.
6.
Rinse under warm running tap water for a minimum of one minute.
7.
Perform a final rinse under purified water for a minimum of one minute.
8.
Dry with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth.

(See note, Automatic Cleaning section, iDrive™ Ultra IFU). §Tested for material compatibility with cleaners that have pH ranges from neutral to 10.8 (such as Dr. Weigert neodisher™* Mediclean forte). Please refer to the cleaner’s manufacturer for information on the microbiological effectiveness of the cleaner. (See note, Automatic Cleaning section, iDrive™ Ultra IFU).
STERILIZATION For complete instructions, always refer to the User’s Guide.
Prevacuum (Hi Vac) Steam Sterilization Use autoclave sterilization only. Do NOT flash-sterilize. Do not use hydrogen peroxide gas plasma (Sterrad™*).

CHARGING AND CLEANING THE BATTERY For complete instructions, always refer to the User’s Guide.

Insert the battery pack into the battery charger, aligning the connectors. The charging cycle will start automatically when the battery pack is inserted correctly into the battery charger. The charge status indicator light panel will indicate the following: ▪ Green: battery pack is ready for use. ▪ Flashing Amber: battery pack is charging, and is not ready for use. ▪ Flashing Red: remove and reinsert battery; if flashing red persists replace battery pack.
Cleaning Clean the battery pack after each use and prior to charging. 1. Do NOT sterilize the battery pack, immerse it in liquid, or expose it to excessive moisture. 2. Wipe down all exposed surfaces of the battery pack with a lint-free cloth moistened with a detergent solution, or a pre-moistened alcohol wipe. 3. Avoid exposing the battery pack connectors to excessive moisture, conductive materials, or contaminates.
Storage Store the components at room temperature, at a humidity between 0 and 90%. For battery pack and charger store at a humidity between 0 and 85%.
