Insert paper • Insert the pack of paper without the cardboard! • Place the stack of thermal paper into the paper tray with the grid visible when pulled over the paper tray cover. • Manually advance 1/2 page of paper beyond the closure point of the writer. • Make sure the paper lays on the black roller evenly within the channel of the paper door. If paper is not manually advanced evenly, risk of jamming or queue faults increases. • Slide the paper tray cover to the right until the cover latches in the locked position (a clear clicking sound should be heard) • ELI 380 uses ‘smart’ paper, this is 210x280 mm (smaller values of both A4 and letter), aka PA4 or L4 6 xxxxxx rev 1 DD-MMM-YYYY © 20XX Hill-Rom Services, Inc.
