• Any product upgrade or modification initiated by Hillrom does not affect the original product warranty. • A sixty-day warranty applies to expendable parts. Please Note: All the above contract warranty periods are conditional on the provision that the defect is due to faulty components or workmanship. Hillrom accepts no responsibility for faults or defects caused by; misuse, undue force, acceptable wear and tear or by not adhering to recommended maintenance schedules. Any warranty parts or warranty service claims found to be due to one of the above will be chargeable to the customer. Shall void this warranty: • Failures produced by an unsuitable, negligent, improper or inadequate use, on the part of the end user of the product. • Failure to follow instructions for use and routine maintenance, as stated in the Hillrom manuals • Failures caused by a different use for which the product has not been designed. • Modifications or attempts to repair the product conducted by individuals who have not been certified by Hillrom to carry out such repairs or modifications. • Any repair of Hillrom products using parts not provided or authorised by Hillrom shall void this warranty. • Failures caused by improper installation or removal of accessory items used in conjunction with the product. • Inadequate transport of the product by individuals who have not been certified by Hillrom. • Any improper use or alteration or repair by unauthorised service providers in such a manner as in Hillrom’s judgment affects the product materially and adversely.
