OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
MAINTENANCE
By plugging into any 220-250 v., 50-60 Hz. AC outlet, the desk charger is immediately ready for use. An indicator light shows that the charger is plugged in and ready to charge either one or two Numbers 60713, 71500, or 71670 battery handles.
Like any other piece of electrical equipment, periodic electrical inspections should be performed by qualified personnel. We recommend that this equipment be inspected at least every six months, more often if used under adverse conditions.
LEAKAGE CURRENT CHECK By leaving the handles in the charger, fully-charged instruments are always ready for use. Batteries cannot be over-charged. A completely discharged battery handle can be fully charged overnight.
The leakage current from exposed metal parts, when a good earth connection is used, should be less than 10 microamps. This equivalent to 9.5 mv in the following circuit. 15mfd
