INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE  Getinge Assured Wash Monitor Interpretation Images  Indications for Use The Getinge Assured Wash Monitor is a single use synthetic soil test for routine monitoring of automated wash processes. Pass  Insert a Wash Monitor into a Wash Monitor Holder assuring the front side of the monitor with red test soil is partly visible in the holder window. Position the device face up inside an instrument basket. Place basket on a shelf in the washer and adjust device position in basket and shelf from cycle to cycle. Run a complete wash cycle. We recommend monitoring each shelf of the washer every day and using a minimum of one Wash Monitor per load for routine monitoring throughout the day. At the end of the wash cycle, remove the Wash Monitor from the Wash Monitor Holder and read the result. You may also record the location of monitor placement in the washer on the Wash Monitor with a fine tip waterproof marker. Place a hash mark or circle representing the position of the Wash Monitor on the location rectangle that simulates an imaginary washer basket. This allows for placement tracking. Caution: Wash Monitor Holder and Wash Monitor may still be hot after the wash cycle. Remove with care.  Safety Precautions Do not use any Wash Monitor where the diamond symbol is not red prior to the wash cycle.  Storage  Fail  Store Wash Monitors inside the protective foil bag provided at 4° - 30°C (40° - 80°F) and 10-60% Relative Humidity. Do not remove Wash Monitors from foil bag until needed. Keep away from disinfectants and chemical fumes.  Expiry Date The expiry date is printed on the product packaging. Do not use after the expiration date on the product packaging.  Interfering Substances or Conditions Location  There are no known interfering substances or conditions that could affect the intended use of the Wash Monitor or adversely affect the indicator performance.  Release of Toxic Substances The Wash Monitor releases no known toxic substances in sufficient quantities to cause either a health hazard, or a hazard to the intended properties of the product. Location  Disposal Since the Wash Monitor is run in the mechanical cleaning equipment; there is a chance for contamination. Therefore, it is recommended to dispose of the used Wash Monitor in compliance with facility protocols.
