VERION™ Digital Marker Device Cleaning

The below information is intended to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection for the VERION™ Digital Marker1 for LenSx® and Microscope2. It is important to note that only cleaning products that have been approved by the manufacturer should be used. • • • • • • • •
Unplug the main power cable from the power supply prior to cleaning. Alcon recommends using Isopropyl as disinfectant. Use a solution containing at least 70% Isopropyl alcohol. Clean the outer surfaces of the Digital Marker with a soft cloth drenched in 70% Isopropyl alcohol and antistatic cleaner. Do not use wet tissues and solvents such as acetone to clean the device. To prevent damaging the device console or its accessories, do not spray or pour cleaning agents directly on their housings. Avoid moisture getting inside of the instrument since this is likely to create electrical hazards. To clean displays, use commercial cleaning cloths for computers and computer screens only. Do not apply extensive pressure. Make sure to fully wipe off any cleaning agent residues.
