1. Introduction 1.1. Information about the operating instructions These operating instructions provide information about the safe use of the device. A prerequisite for working safely is the adherence to all specified safety instructions and operational instructions.
CAUTION Risk of accidents due to incorrect operation! If the device is not used as intended by the manufacturer, accidents and machine damage can be the result. ► These operating instructions must be read and understood entirely before using the machine. ► The instructions should be within reach for all users of the machine at all times.
Read and Observe the operating instructions!
Read these instructions carefully before beginning any work on the device! It is a part of the device and must be kept accessible at all times and in the immediate vicinity of the device for operating and maintenance personnel.
BPR Swiss does not accept liability for accidents, device damage and consequences from device failure resulting from non-adherence to the operating instructions. Furthermore, the local accident prevention regulations and general safety regulations for the operational area of the device apply. The manufacturer reserves the right to make technical changes to improve the performance characteristics and for further development without prior notice. Figures are used to aid the basic understanding and can be different from the actual design of the device. 1.2. Liability limitation The information and notes in these operating instructions were prepared under consideration of applicable standards and regulations, the current state of technology as well as our long-standing knowledge and experience. BPR Swiss does not accept liability for damage due to: non-adherence to the operating instructions use other than intended use by persons that were not instructed use of spare parts that were not approved by BPR Swiss. unauthorised modifications of the device or additional parts. Spare parts BPR Swiss recommends the use of original spare parts. Original spare parts have special quality characteristics and guarantee a reliable and safe function: developed especially for use in the device, manufactured with high quality and performance characteristics, legal warranty period or other agreements guaranteed (except wear parts).
NOTE Using NON-original spare parts can change the characteristics of the device and affect a safe operation! Liability of BPR Swiss is excluded for damage resulting from this.

2. Safety 2.1. General The device was constructed, manufactured and tested based on the current state of technology and is in fault-free and safe condition. However, the device can pose risks for persons and materials, if it is not used as intended. Work not described in the instruction manual must be carried out by qualified personnel (service personnel). Therefore, the entire operating instructions must be read and safety notices must be observed. A product training by the distributor is recommended. The requirement depends on the technical knowledge of the user. Warning signs attached directly to the device must be observed and kept complete and in legible condition. Any liability and warranty by BPR Swiss is not accepted if the device is not used appropriately and as intended.
WARNING During maintenance (for example replacement of parts not mentioned in the instruction manual) the safety of the device may be at risk.
2.2. Description of warning notes Warning notes indicate possible danger or risks for safety. They are marked with a signal word panel (symbol with corresponding signal word) on coloured background in these operating instructions. All warning notes have the same standardised organisation and content structure. Sample structure of a warning note:

Personnel qualification and responsibilities
WARNING Danger due to improper use! Improper use of the device can result in serious personal or material damage. The device must only be operated by qualified persons.
Operator: The operator is the person or company responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of the device. The operator of the device is responsible for regular maintenance and inspection according to the legal requirements. Furthermore, they are obliged to ensure appropriate training/instruction of the operating personnel. BPR Swiss recommends that trained and authorised specialist dealers or service partners conduct the instructions.

A user of a medical product is any person using a medical product at their own responsibility in a commercial location regardless of their qualification. The group of authorised users includes only qualified personnel. Users and authorised users are personally responsible for the person to be treated (e.g. patient, participant). Due to the high responsibility accepted by this group of persons, a special information obligation about all safety aspects of the device and their intended use applies. 2.5. Intended use The device DENTA-CHAIR 303 is a transportable dental treatment chair and serves for the general ambulant and stationary dental treatment. The device is designed as a medical product exclusively to be used by a qualified user. The instructions in the instruction manual are mandatory for the choice of the place of treatment.

Just CE marked products in conjuction with the intended use shall be used. In case of uncertainty please contact the manufacturer. This is especially true for products of other manufacturers such as operating lights, trays etc.

4. Transport and Storage 4.1. Safety notes for transport The device is delivered ex-work packed in a transport carton, preventing the device from being damaged during the transport. Check the device for transport damage upon delivery. Check the shipment incl. accessories as well and compare with the associated delivery slip. The manufacturer is not liable for transport damage and missing parts if this information was not included in writing on the delivery papers upon delivery of the device. Damage and faults must be reported to the shipping agent as well as the responsible specialist dealer.
CAUTION For the transport, always use an original product packing, if possible. Transport the DENTA-CHAIR 303 in an upright position!

NOTE Keep the packing material for possible future return shipments. If this is not possible, dispose the packing material in an environmental-friendly way. The transport carton can be disposed off as the old paper.

Extend leg parts by pulling the lower part to the desired height (please pull evenly). Fit screws at the new height and tight tightly.
8. Maintenance and cleaning 8.1.

8.2.
Cleaning
The DENTA-CHAIR 303 should be thoroughly cleaned at regular intervals, depending on the intensity of use. Remove light dirt and dust with a soft cloth. Dirt can be removed with damp cloth and mild soapy water. After cleaning dry with a dry cloth! Cleaning Notes: A soft cloth and detergent must be used to clean the outer casing. Do not use sharp tools for cleaning (knife, metal scraper) or aggressive sol-vents. The detergent should preferably contain disinfectant. Do not clean with a high-pressure cleaner. Clean all surfaces with a non-abrasive, mild detergent. Only use dermatologically tested detergents. Do not use alkaline detergent. Observe the instructions and precautions from the detergent manufacturers.
NOTE Further details concerning the cleaning can be taken from the document “Hygiene-Protocol”.
Disinfection: If disinfection is required during use, only one suitable cleaning agent, which observes skin protection and hygiene plan, can be used. Follow the instructions and precautions of the disinfectant manufacturer. 8.3.
Correcting malfunctions

10. Disposal advices (Applicable in European countries with separate collection system)
The device and its packaging were made from materials which can be recycled. This reduces the waste and protects the environment. Discard the packaging separately for recycling in accordance with local recycling options. Devices that are marked with this symbol shall not be disposed as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. For more detailed information about recycling of this product, please contact your local city office, your household waste disposal service or your BPR Swiss dealer.
