HiQ+ Laparoscopic Instruments Assembly Guide Jaw Insert Handle
Insulated Shaft
HiQ+ Components: The HiQ+ Monopolar Laparoscopic Hand Instruments consists of three modular components and 2 sealing caps.
STEP 1

Insert the jaw insert into the insulated shaft.
Anchor the jaw insert with your left hand then rotate the shaft clockwise a half-turn to lock the jaw insert in place.
STEP 3
STEP 4
Gently tap on the proximal end of the jaw insert to ensure that it is anchored into place. If the jaw insert slides out of the shaft, repeat step 2.
Completely open the handle.
STEP 5
STEP 6
Fully insert the proximal end of the jaw insert into the handle. If the jaw insert becomes dislodged from the shaft, disassemble all components and restart the assembly process.
When properly inserted, close the handle to lock the system in place.
